Hiya!! I'm Meme, your friend who just happens to love cooking! I'm a registered dietitian nutritionist and write a food blog, Living Well Kitchen. I share approachable, nourishing recipes to prove that living a healthy lifestyle can be budget friendly, delicious & fun! (yes, I said fun!)
I hate to see people struggle with cooking, so I decided to share all my knowledge and tips that I've collected along my journey of cooking delicious food to nourish my body (and not focusing on being skinny or eating miserable diet food)!
I've spent the past five years cooking primarily for myself, so I know a thing or two (or more!) about cooking for one. I also love entertaining and cooking for large groups, so I've got a wealth of knowledge in that, too. Cooking tasty, nutritious food is my passion!
My food philosophy is to enjoy the food I eat by eating real food that tastes great and nourishes my body. I feel that it’s more important to focus on all the wonderful things you can enjoy instead of foods to restrict. I couldn’t go through life without sweets or bacon, but I know it’s not beneficial to eat these daily. My life goal is to get more plants into people’s diet. Vegetables and fruit are God’s gift to our health and taste buds, and I focus my recipes on trying to prove that fact.
